Carnival Fleurieu

Carnival Fleurieu

The opening event for the 2023 Festival. Come to the beautiful Myponga Reservoir and listen to the wonderful sounds of the cello or the voice of Margie Russell. Wander among the trees to view the sculptures on display. Try your hand at kayaking or just relax under the trees with a view of the water. Take a guided bush walk and let the kids get involved in nature crafts. Be there for the Welcome to Country at 11.15am and don’t forget to pre-book the kids into the First Nations Workshops on offer. These include ochre play, boomerang painting and native seed bomb making. For the adults we have boomerang throwing and of course there will be food and non alcoholic drinks available for purchase.
