Fleurieu Writers Competition 2026
Festival Fleurieu is proud to invite entries in two categories:
• Poetry – aimed at preschool and early readers, maximum of 64 lines
• Short Story – aimed at primary school aged readers with a maximum of 3,000 words
Prizes for each category:
• First – $500
• Second – $300
• Third – book voucher
Winners will be announced in July during the Imagine your world in stories and art children’s literary festival
Entry is FREE and competition is open to residents of the Fleurieu Peninsula - refer map to check -
aged 16+
